Terracon Mobile Career Site Launches to Enhance Candidate Experience
The rise in mobile recruiting means more companies, like Terracon, are seeking expertise in developing mobile career sites. IBM Employment Branding recently launched a mobile career site for Terracon, a 100 percent employee-owned engineering firm with more than 3,000 employees in 140 offices and 40 states nationwide.

The history: The relationship between IBM and Terracon started in 2012 when the engineering firm began using the IBM onboarding solution. Soon after, Terracon leveraged IBM® Kenexa® BrassRing on Cloud. And while the company had an existing career site that was linked to BrassRing, it wanted to create a cohesive mobile candidate experience that would integrate with the IBM talent acquisition system.
The need: Terracon understood that enhancing the candidate experience was an important part of its mobile recruiting and overall talent acquisition strategy. So it sought to create a mobile version of its career site that would help candidates quickly and easily find jobs and make the candidate experience more cohesive.
The solution: The Employment Branding team developed a mobile version of the Terracon career site that integrated into BrassRing through Mobile Apply. Launching in mid-Q2, the solution allows candidates to use a quick search function from the main home page and features website analytics that measure the ongoing success of the mobile site. The development of a mobile career site for Terracon demonstrates the importance of extending a unified candidate experience into mobile recruiting as a tool to attract and connect with top talent in new ways.
