NBCUniversal

Mobile responsive career site that allows candidates to view, interact and learn more about the company on a mobile device

New Mobile Responsive Career Site Created for NBCUniversal

Attracting top talent today requires a career site that candidates can view and interact with on their mobile device. That’s why NBCUniversal partnered with IBM Employment Branding to make its existing career site mobile responsive. NBCUniversal is one of the world’s leading media and entertainment companies in the development, production and marketing of entertainment, news and information to a global audience.

The history: NBCUniversal began working with IBM in October 2010, using IBM® Kenexa® BrassRing on Cloud. In late 2013, it began working with the Employment Branding team to determine how it could make its existing career site mobile responsive, while still integrating with BrassRing throughout the entire mobile experience.

The need: Since its career site did not offer a mobile responsive option, NBCUniversal looked to the Employment Branding team to design a mobile career site that would allow candidates to view the site, search for jobs and apply. The mobile site needed to integrate into BrassRing technology and leverage the existing content management system (CMS).

The solution: Based on its expertise in creating mobile career sites, the Employment Branding team developed a mobile responsive version of the NBCUniversal career site that integrated into BrassRing recruitment technology. The update to the site allows for potential candidates to view the site, learn more about the company, find jobs and apply all using their mobile device. Launching in June 2014, the new mobile responsive delivery exceeded the expectations of NBCUniversal and showcases how a top global organization is using mobile as a tool to attract, connect with and recruit top talent.
